Ian Henderson, the man behind The Pink Elephant brand - London’s luxury platter, event styling and tablescaping business - was born and raised in Zimbabwe, educated in Brisbane, Australia, and after many years living in London has recently relocated to a barn conversion near St Alban’s, Hertfordshire. With a love for travelling, food and entertaining, Ian set out to encompass and share his zest for life by founding The Pink Elephant.
Unlike the regular “elephant in the room”, The Pink Elephant is too fabulous not to be spoken about. While ‘pink’ represents it’s flamboyant, playful and eccentric spirit, the ‘elephant’ traces back to Ian’s magical African upbringing and the idea that our creative presence in a space is striking, eye-catching and cannot be missed.
Established as a passion project in 2020, The Pink Elephant has now flourished into a thriving and ever-evolving luxury event styling business.
