Corporate Retreats

Space to think I Time to reconnect I Clarity to move forward

Our new corporate retreats are designed to give leadership teams and organisations the space they rarely get in day‑to‑day business. Away from distractions, our retreats create an environment for clear thinking, honest conversation, renewed energy, and purposeful direction. Blending structured sessions with reflective time, expert facilitation, and inspiring surroundings, each retreat is carefully curated to meet the needs of your business – whether that’s alignment, strategy, wellbeing, creativity, or reconnection.

Meet Kat our Wellness Coach & Facilitator

Kathryn Thakrar is a wellness consultant and somatic practitioner supporting healthier, more connected workplaces. With firsthand experience of the demands and pressures of business, including her role in building a successful recruitment company, she understands the realities of modern working life and the impact it can have on wellbeing, relationships, and performance.

After experiencing burnout early in her career, Kathryn retrained extensively and has over 15 years’ experience as a qualified yoga instructor. She is certified in Trauma-Informed Nervous System Coaching and brings together advanced breathwork, mindfulness, somatic movement, and nervous system regulation. She is passionate about creating grounded experiences with accessible practices, helping to build environments where people feel supported, understood, and able to reset.

Kathryn is also a wife and mum of three, living in Harpenden, where she is actively involved in the local community. She regularly runs wellbeing sessions and workshops designed to help people pause, reconnect, and find balance in the midst of busy lives.

WHAT will Kat bring to our retreats?

Our corporate retreats address common workplace challenges while supporting individuals to feel more present, resilient, and connected. Our approach recognises that stress is not just in the mind — it is held in the body and nervous system, influencing how people think, communicate, and relate to others.

This work can support teams and individuals experiencing:

  • Chronic stress, anxiety, and early signs of burnout

  • Reduced focus, mental fatigue, and decision overload

  • Disconnection within teams and a lack of psychological safety

  • Social anxiety and loss of confidence linked to hybrid or remote working

  • Blurred boundaries between work and personal life

Through guided somatic movement, participants learn to release held tension and restore a sense of physical ease, often leading to greater clarity and creativity. Meditation practices help slow the pace of the mind, supporting focus, emotional regulation, and more thoughtful responses rather than reactive behaviour. Breathwork is used throughout as a practical, accessible tool that can be taken straight back into the working day to manage pressure and regulate stress in real time.

A key element of Kathryn’s work is nervous system awareness — understanding how stress responses shape communication styles, emotional reactions, and workplace dynamics. By developing this awareness, individuals often experience improved concentration, more effective collaboration, and a healthier sense of work-life balance rooted in self-care rather than effort alone.

Meet Alessandro our Energizer Coach & Facilitator

I’m an executive coach with 22 years of professional experience and an MBA in Organisational Psychology.

Through Align Life, I offer a coaching and learning methodology primarily to Senior Executives and CEOs who are questioning about their purpose in life and looking to be re-oriented. My experience of working in highly complex changing environments and multicultural settings has shaped my knowledge and insights about change management.

My goal is to create and facilitate a revitalising space by adventuring on energising activities in live retreats that nurture self discovery and provide a sense of revival and renewal. I empower professionals to realign what “going with your gut” means to give a new definition of success.

I’m here to listen with empathy and to help you feel safe to share, and reflect, and to Align Life.

WHAT will Alessandro bring to our retreats?

1. Purpose and outcomes – Executive leadership perspective

From my side, the core purpose of the retreat is to create a protected, high-quality space where senior leaders can step out of operational pressure and reconnect with three critical dimensions: self-awareness, relational effectiveness, and strategic clarity. Specifically, the retreat can focus on helping participants to improve mental and body fitness, helping them to identify some of their self-sabotaging behaviours and helping them to move  to self-mastery.

2. Proposed coaching interventions within the retreat

1 Work around PQ Program from Positive Intelligence®: I will facilitate a simple yet effective way to improve well-being, performance, and relationships.

Outcome: Backed by neuroscience, the program helps the client break free from self-sabotaging patterns and build mental fitness through consistent daily practice.

2 Wheel of Life & Values Exercise: I will facilitate an hour session, then the group will be split in to subgroups

Outcome: Create awareness around areas of life that need attention.

3 Drawing exercise (group work): I will facilitate an hour session, then the group will be split in subgroup

Outcome: Help to increase self-awareness around possible areas of life that have been neglected by the client.

Each package remains modular and tailorable, based on our final definition of the way we want to move forward.

The Venue & Experience

Set in a beautiful Grade II Listed barn conversion, our retreats take place in an environment that encourages calmness, creativity, and connection. Escape to the tranquil quietude of the British countryside with visit to The Barn in Hertfordshire, England. Tucked away among rolling green hills and historic market towns, this idyllic spot is perfect to stop and reconnect. Swap the busy hustle of daily life for a breath of fresh countryside air at The Barn.

Event Planning & Experience

Corporate retreats are only as effective as the experience surrounding them. That’s where Ian and The Pink Elephant come in.

With years of experience delivering high-end private, corporate, and bespoke events, Ian brings a deep understanding of how people move through a space, how energy shifts across a day, and how small details shape big outcomes. His background spans catering, beverages, styling, décor, music, and live entertainment — giving him a holistic view of what truly makes an experience work.

Ian’s approach is rooted in thoughtful planning, calm delivery, and intuitive flow. He understands how to balance structure with flexibility, ensuring retreats feel purposeful without being rigid. From venue coordination and timings to atmosphere and guest experience, every element is considered with intention.
